On Feb 3 and Feb 10, the Dream Girls Club was honored to be invited to explore the Diaspora Trail City Tour compliments of Rashida Godwin of Titan Tours. This Bermuda heritage tour aka the “Freedom Tour” honors trailblazers in Black Bermudian history in the form of a very comfortable two-hour drive around Hamilton to the Sarah “Sally” Bassett sculpture, Barr’s Bay Park, and past the Sessions House, Cabinet Office, and City Hall. A great deal of facts, stories, and anecdotes were imparted to our participants of all ages, who packed two buses. All expressed delight at the end of each tour. DGC is very grateful to Titan Tours for this very interesting and meaningful history lesson!
